Hello Smokers,
I just returned from a ten day Alaskan vacation on the Kenai Peninsula. Five guys fishing everyday we were there! I came back with forty pounds of frozen fish. This was my third trip to Alaska.
I've always enjoyed smoked fish, I usually go to the local smokehouse about once a week for some smoked albacore. Now that I have a freezer full of halibut and sockeye, I decided to purchase The "new" Original Bradley Smoker. It should arrive in about a week. I also ordered the Maverick remote thermometer, some alder and maple briquettes.
I've been reading the forum for the last couple of days and decided to join today. I look forward to asking lots of stupid questions :)!
What else do I need to make my smoking debut a success?
Thanks,
HMB Lipripper
This is my first attempt to upload a photo, I'm not sure if this going to work.
