Title: burgers?
Post by: smokewatcher on July 05, 2012, 09:58:36 AM
I'm a newbie here, but have already smoked some pork butt and some yard bird which have turned out great. what about simple burgers? which smoke, and how long do they take? is it worth doing or is it better to just grill them?

There is a recent thread on burgers here somewhere. I prefer to grill them. Thats what I call simple and quick meal. I have had  some smoked burgers before but have never done them myself.
So where are all the pics of the unicorn butts and stuff youve already smoked.  ;) ;D

Burgers is a dish I prefer to grill on a grill with combination charcoal and hard wood as the fuel choice. The same holds true for individual beef steaks. However, the Bradley is excellent for making meat loaf.

Yes and cheap steak make excellent burgers. a little Worcestershire, a packet of dried onion soup and fresh ground beef. Top with miracle whip, ketchup, hot mustard, lettuce, onions, tomato and dills. On a good bun. That is a two fisted burger you'll brag to your mom about. LOL
