A friend made a request for a special smoke.

So lets get started.
Turkey, apple juice and some jalapeno
Sausage.

Turkey lightly sprinkled with s&p
Then wrapped in cheesecloth.

Then soaked with apple juice and ready for the smoker. (http://img.tapatalk.com/4812610d-a467-1731.jpg)
1.5 hrs of hickory.

Obvious question -- but that IS a bone-less turkey breast right?!?! Or did birds in your region lose their legs and wings? :)

You can vacuum seal and freeze the slices.   That's what we do.

I also take the skin off so I get a little more smoke/rub penetration.   Doesn't dry out the boulders at all.

Yes, RD has them from time to time.

I can also order them from Gordon Food Service here in Springfield. 
Not sure if they have them out there or not..   "GFS Marketplace" is what their stores are called.
