Hello from Canada. Just purchased a new digital Jim Beam SS smoker...seasoning right now. First meal tomorrow, but not sure what to try.
Looking forward to using the forum for advice since this was one of the big influences in my decision to go with a Bradley.
BTW - Saskatoon is about 400 miles north west of Minot, ND. I get this question a lot when I travel.
Cheers.
Saskatoon is about 140 miles north of Moose Jaw. Everybody knows where Moose Jaw is! :D :D ;D
Welcome to the forum Todboy! Loads of great information here and don't forget about the recipe site. Just click on the smoker at the bottom of my post. Lots of great things to try from all the fine folks here on the forum.

Hey I have been to Saskatoon, but then again my Mom was from Dysart. Welcome to the forum.
Welcome aboard.

Don't know for sure but figure it is safe to say that it is north of Alabama somewhere. Welcome aboard.
I went to U of S in Saskatoon! I now live far far away, but return often! Welcome...
So I am guessing there are no old school country music fans here. Sonny James had a hit on a song titled "Just a little bit South of Saskatoon".

Not a country music fan but... That's Moose Jaw, just a little south of Saskatoon!
See, I told you everyone knows where Moose Jaw is! :D :D :D :D ;D

Well, as we're going in a musically themed direction... I can't resist... and yes, Moose Jaw is even mentioned in this song too :) (and no offence meant to anyone smokin' in Hong Kong!):
Running Back To Saskatoon - The Guess Who
(B. Cummings- K. Winter)
I been hangin' around gas stations
I been learnin' 'bout tires
I been talkin' to grease monkeys
I been workin' on cars
Moose Jaw, Broadview, Moosomin too
Runnin' back to Saskatoon
Red Deer, Terrace and a Medicine Hat
Sing another prairie tune
Sing another prairie tune
I been hangin' around libraries
I been learnin' 'bout books
I been talkin' to playwriters
I been workin' on words, phrases
I been hangin' around hospitals
I been learnin' 'bout dyin'
I been talkin' to heart doctors
I been workin' on disease
This spirit is home grown
Don't come from Hong Kong
This spirit is home grown
Don't come from Hong Kong
I been hangin' around grain elevators
I been learnin' 'bout food
I been talkin' to soil farmers
I been workin' on land
I been hangin' around camera stores
I been learnin' 'bout sight
I been talkin' to film makers
I been workin' on eyes
Moose Jaw, Broadview, Moosomin too
Runnin' back to Saskatoon
Red Deer, Terrace and a Medicine Hat
Sing another prairie tune
