Title: does anyone have a recipe to make a cure for beef jerky?im using a top round cut

im going to make some jerky next weekend, i could really use some help with a cure recipe.

Thanks standles very helpful i only have kikkoman soy sauce i hope that will do the job

If your smoking the jerky your going to need cure 1 or some morton tender quick. Just the salt in the soy wont cut it and your taking your chances.

Thanks nepasmoker i just got some hi mountain cure and speasoning kits from cabelas im going to try those and see how they work, i dont think they sell morton tender quick in canada but im not 100% sure on that, have you used the hi mountain kits before?
