Title: reheating butts
Post by: Bigun on August 24, 2012, 01:06:40 PM
What would be the best way to reheat some butts in a remote area without electricity? We are going camping this weekend and will need to reheat (4) butts to feed a large group. I really dont want to run the generator in order to be able to use crock pots.

A dutch oven would work, or maybe heavily wrapped in foil and placed on a rack just at the edge of the fire?
I am sure there will be better help along shortly.

If it is vacuum sealed, put in hot water. If you have a pot, water, and a way of making a fire I am sure this would work. Just do not let it boil or the seal can break.
