That one is a coyote call made from bocote wood. It is a squaler call like a dying rabbit.

Waygu beef comes to the sound of the ranchers engine and the Berkshire hogs the sounds of a bag of feed getting ripped open.......... ;D

Yes. But you don't need the bellows. It will look like this.

Although you can pick the wood. I don't use stain, only clear finish so the wood choice I have settled on is cocobollo and bocote. This one is some kind of maple not from around here and it was hard to get smooth without fillers.

Guys, im sorry I havent posted back. I have been VERY busy making these just from local guys.

Just made 4 tonight and it looks like I may be caught up.

Anybody wanting the cocobola wood will just have to pass. That stuff iritates my sinuses even with a HEPA mask on!

Bocate wood is fine and so far all others that I have tried. Anybody wanting to get into this can go to Hutproducts.com and find all the parts and wood choices you want.

I dont want to advertise on here so PM me.

Im just having fun with a new hobby.

Sort of.  I had looked at some calls online and some plans, initially used the dimensions and style from those and tweeked it a bit like the end pieces.
Here is the link to the one I used for the idea.

Alan,
Very simple squirrel stew.
a bottle of V8 juice, your favorite veggies (i usually use store bought mixed)
3 or 4 squirrels skinned gutted and boiled until tender. (you probably already knew that)
pull meat from the bone like pulled chicken. simmer the veggies until almost tender, add the meat, S&P to taste and a couple shots of hot sauce. the veggies should be tender by the time the meat warms up.
careful not to cook the meat too long as it will be strings instead of lumps.
hope this makes sense. this is one of my favorite "tree rat" recipes.
Thanks up in smoke
I had a very unusual summer with squirrels around here. On 3 occasions a squirrel crawled up the power pole with a transformer on it in front of our house & got electricuted. On 1 of the 3 times, 2 crowes started fighting over the fried squirrel & got fried themselves. We have lived here for over 25 years and never had any incedents like this. Now we have very few squirrels left.
