Title: Green Chili Sausage?
Post by: shrolfe on August 25, 2012, 06:47:17 PM
I just made a batch of Jalapeno Sausage from Len Poli's site, turned out very good.

I have never seen a recipe for green chile sausage, I assume you could make in a by adding green chili to the meat and perhaps adding cumin and cilantro to the mix.

Has anybody tried making sausage with green chili?

I haven't made it but it sounds like you already have a good start on an experiment.

Isn't a jalapeno a green chili?

Same color, totally different taste. Green chili usually refers to a chili such as a Hatch green chili or Aniheim chili. These are used in making green chili sauce in Mexican cooking.
