Title: Are You Ready For Some FOOTBALL ? Major UPDATE>>>>
Post by: classicrockgriller on September 07, 2012, 06:32:26 PM
Stopped getting excited about football when the Dallas Cowboys changed ownership,

But then we got the Texans and this year I got talked into to joining a fantasy league.

Looking forward to the season.

Might just be the year for the Houston Texans to play in the big dance.

Larry, I do have WR Lance Moore and K Garret Hartley on my fantasy team.

Not sure if I will start Moore or not. I'll flip a coin Sunday morn.

What is this ball of foot that ye speak of?

:D

I can't be fully disappointed tomorrow, I know one of my two teams will win........but also know that one of them will lose.  Pro's, Vikings vs. Bills in the Super Bowl...write it down. :)

I have always been a Packers fan, beginning with Lombardi and the mid 60's, no need to change now.

I picked up a cpl of free agents this morning. I got:

Cundiff, PK for Washington (I think he will have a lot of FG opps with a rookie QB)

Ogletree WR from Dallas (He is a rookie and third option on team. had a great game last week)

Hill WR for Jets (took him to block someone else that wanted him. yes I play mean)

Our local pub has a football pool. 94 people entered. With 2 games to go, the leader is a woman who makes her weekly picks by deciding which team's helmet she likes best!!

The guys aren't pleased, especially those who spend hours of research trying to pick the winning team!!

My Teams Season ended today ... well officially next Sunday but we can't win em all.  :-\
I am and have been a die hard Steeler Fan since as long as I can remember and to this day when asked who my childhood hero was I answer the same way. #58 Jack Lambert  ;)

"If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler."
-- Jack Lambert --

Love my Steelers!  :)
