Title: ground pork jerky
Post by: cobra6223 on September 27, 2012, 02:56:48 PM
Well once again I come to not only the best place in the world for advice but the only place in the world to get advice. My son gave me 4# of ground pork, not sure of fat content or anything as it was custom butcher job and he would like some jerky made, use ground beef and turkey a lot but never tried pork. will use a dehydrator and i realize there should be a lot fat rendered out of it could be a mess. Any and all tips, recipes and help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for all your great help !!

If you think (should be able to see the fat content) theres to much fat in there I would add some lean ground pork loin.

Then do it just like ground turkey
