Thanks guys. Ross--Are you fishing on the salt or in the river? We're going out in the middle of Juan de Fuca strait after transient coho.

T2 I will be fly fishing on the beach in the White Rock area.
10.5 we are having great weather here on the West Coast, the temp should hit about 20C over the next few days, can't say the same for the rest of Canada though.

Hold the front door! Did you say you are beach fly fishing at white rock? Why have I never heard of this? Now that sounds like fun. You need to fill me in on this Ross.
We had dinner all planned at my brothers place for satuday cause his wife has to work the rest of the weekend and then last night he calls and says his kid is real sick. Now I am scrambling to pick up the pieces and feed the rest of the family. My dad is in a wheelchair so we can't do it at my place which means I am cooking everything here and hauling it all to dads place. I hope I can get a fresh turkey or we will be eating meatloaf. LOL

Well Gus yesterday was turkey day at the outlaws. I brought my Big Easy over there and cooked a turkey for them even if I'm not married to their daughter anymore. Not their fault for the way she turned out  ::) They like me and I like them so we had a really nice dinner yesterday.
Today I'm at home with my son and smoked a ham in miss piggy for dinner tonight. Both meals where great.
Here is a pic of tonights meal, the only different's from yesterdays meal and tonights is one is turkey and tonight is ham.  ;)

Managed to feed on 2 turkeys this weekend, ours and again at my brother's place. didn't get out coho fishing tho as I caught a nasty cold that laid me right out.   :(  Today was flat calm, sunny and the boys were nailing coho out on the strait---next weekend I guess.

Went out on Saturday with eldest son for Coho, we threw everything at them for a couple of hours with no luck. Today the kids we coming over for Turkey and the oldest sends me picture from his phone of about a 10 lb. Coho he caught we we were fishing on Saturday. Had a great Thanksgiving all three boys were here today for dinner, they just left. Nice when they all make it over for dinner.  ;D T2 take care of yourself, get better and get out there and slay some coho.

Sorry guys. It seems my adapter for my memory card is screwed so for know I can't load pics. And with the panic of the weekend I only got a pic of the bird stuffed and ready for the oven and one of the extra stuffing which I bake. But things went good I managed to pull it out of the fire and then I just did a turkey boulder (first time for these) on monday so my girls could have dinner with us as they were both working the weekend. Added the boulder to the leftovers for saturday and all was good.

Quarlow--I've smoked those boulders with good success but I haven't done one for awhile. I'm glad you had a good weekend.
