Title: Buck Board Bacon Hunt
Post by: iceman on October 10, 2012, 03:07:41 PM
Just got back from a semi successful domestic boar hunt at mile 9 on the Knik Goose Bay Road. AKA Three Bears Country Store  ;D. Anyhooo they had some butts on sale so I picked some up for the purpose of creating links of some sorts. Had a few slabs left over and decided some BBB was in order.
Slap some cure on them and in the fridge for 8 days then a quick 4 hour heat and smoke in the Bradley. Nice treat for us  :)

Taking on some smoke

Just about ready

Frying up some test slices. Nice and lean and VERY tender and tasty  :D  :)
