Title: Outside Chicken-N-Dumplings

My wife was born in Germany on a Military base. When she came here to the states she was raised in Lititz, PA and ate allot of PA Dutch food. This morning she made some dutch style chicken-n-dumplings on the grill.

Why we talkin in fractions?  I love chicken $ Dumplins, ecspecially the outside kind  :)

Is that anything like (Kanurdle soup). I probably spelled it wrong but my best buds mom is German and use to make it when we were little kids, literally. I have known him since I was 5 years old.

Looks like a pot of goodness Rick.

My mom used to make chicken and dumplings. Brings back fond memories. Good comfort food :)

That looks absolutely fantastic! Shes done real good!

Q....I think you are meaning knodel soup, which is with bread dumplings.  Which is also good!

I think you are right but my buddy always called it as I spelled it before and being as I was not the least bit German I took it for what  he said. That is pretty funny as I have mentioned this to other Germans and always got a funny look and now I know why. I owe my buddy a swift kick in the nards for this. >:(
