Nothing came out of mine today......... because I went shopping in the big city to get more stuff to smoke. Gone all day and then I get home and see this!!!! You guys are killing me. :o ;D ;)
Now I have to make some pastrami. Curt I sent you a PM so as not to hijack this thread.

Hi,
I had elk CB and pastrami come out of it yesterday.
This morning, I have 5 lbs of venison jerky going in it.

Got to go shopping today, everyone around here are worried about some little storm coming up the coast, like its really going to hit us. ::)
Maybe over the weekend I can get some smoking done.

This is my first batch of Thuringer. Never bought or even heard of it before so I don't know what a commercial version tastes like. But the wife and I both agree that the test fry was very tasty, a little sour twang to it and nice. Hopefully it gets even better after the smoke.
