Title: Hello from Utah

New to the forum and to the Bradley Smoker. I just bought a 6 rack and today is my first day using it. I'm excited to see how it turns out. I'm cooking a pork shoulder with a nice dry rub. I've never used a smoker before so let's hope it works out! Wish me luck! ;) ;) ;)

Welcome to the forum!  Keep the vent open and the water bowl full.  That shoulder will be a long long cook.  Don't worry when the temp of the meat stalls at around 150 for 2-3 hours.  That is what you want it to do.  Don't bump the heat up in the smoker.  The meat temp will start to rise again, I promise.
