Any clue where the burnt pucks go?
Them little fellas sure look like they would be a lot of fun to play with. Will start saving now, maybe have one by the next MWSO.

No Mike that is the real deal. Will be launched here in the US real soon. From what my sources are telling me.
Yep its the real thing, not sure about the spent pucks or any specifics like max temp how long to recover etc. ???
How you going to hang sausage in that thing ;D

Breakfast sausage only, or a bologna casing 10"dia. and 4" long. :)
Once that thing is seen on the food network stores wont be able to keep it on the shelves. Assuming it will be in the $100 range.

Ditto, or even a short one.
If it is capable of smoking 1 large butt I may have to get one. My 4 rack is a lot more than I need since it is just myself and the Mrs and it takes up more room than I like. Wonder what kind of mods it will need!

From what i heard, the smoke generator will not be removable for use with the cold smoke adaptor so for the cheese temp i'm not sure. It seems to have only 1 power cord for the unit unlike the previous model (not 1 for the tower and 1 for the smoke gen.) Unless changes had been made. I also heard that it will heat higher like 300F Don't know what type of element inside.

Now im thinkin smoked cinnabons :o
Cool, nothing on the UK website yet but we do tend to lag behind in availability of new products. :o
Probably not the best promotional picture showing raw meat alongside cheese, there will be a few people who look at that picture and thing it is ok to mix and match and food safety goes out the window.
Love the melted cheese pic! ;)
Hmmmm... I do agree it LOOKS cool... but really? Are we needing to miniaturise the smoker? Well... for me at least, I can't see much use. Go big or go home ;D Seriously though, I guess it could be ok for smoking a few of anything. But... think about it. What do Bradley sell most of? Consumables.... does a smaller smoker use any less?
QuoteWhat do Bradley sell most of? Consumables.... does a smaller smoker use any less?
It will certainly suit Bradley if people smoke little and often! ;)
"Go big or go home" sounds about right to me :) interesting to see how well it is received?
Looks like it could be very usable
I think it would work great for ABT's and Moinks. Mmmmmm now I'm hungry. :)

I'll believe it if and when I see it ... Doesn't look like it would work! For example: where does the smoke go? Shouldn't there be a vent on top? Like mentioned before - where do the burned pucks go? When I look at my smoke generator and this unit I think they would have to miniaturize the smoke generator and not use regular sized pucks ???
Just my 2¢ but I'm just not buying it!!! I don't mean that I'm not buying one but rather I'm not buying the fact that one of these exists ... Like someone from Missouri. You have got to show me ... A video of one with a person demonstrating the unit would work ::) 8) ;)
Is listed on dealer (NZ) site below.. $399.99 Inc GST

I stand corrected !! :o :-[ :)
That's a lot of money for a two rack, table top smoker. The convenience factor is there but I was hoping for half a 6 rack, at least.
Very cool though...
EDIT: I thought that was USD...I'm back to very interested.
Just a small detail man, the price you saw is for NZ NOT USA or Canada. For NA, you can divide by 2 check the price for the others smokers and you will understand. www.thesmokehouse.co.nz

OMG...thank you for clearing that up. I was floored when I saw the price.

Only if you have a hole in your roof ;D ;D ;D ;D
Hey I put one in the garage! I'd love to have one in the kitchen and it would be worth another chimney! ::) Just dont figure how this even works. And why it would be considered safe enough for indoor use when the OBS isn't.
Here is the link with specks. Wow 360 degrees and a conventional oven type heat. Now to see where the smoke and hot biscuits go. Also 240 volts. Thinking maybe smoke is filtered and cleaned.

Also I was very interested in their downloads. As they have to smoke house designs for the Bradley smoke generator. Really interested in the cedar one. But maybe full size as the suggest. May be the answer to my broken hinge. LOL!

Temperature range of 140ºF - 350ºF ... wish my OBS had that range!!!

From what I have been hearing the bisquettes fall into a small catch pan on the backside of the smoker.
Seems you'd get some smoke in the house that way. Have you heard weather they need vented or not?
Not yet I haven't
Just saw this and showed it to SWMBO and she said get one. We moved into a condo and smoking is more difficult now. I guess she likes what I do. Waiting for them to be avalible in Canada.

Well dont see many around here buying them if they need vented. But I would! :) Id love to have one. But with todays air electronic air filters be easy to do. Also see their 220 volt also.
Personally, when it will be released for USA and Canada, i expect it to be 120volts like the others, but i can be wrong. NZ is like Europe, their electric standard is a bit different than our.

240 V? Isn't that the European version?
I just ordered mine from Wholesalepatiostore.com and when I called them I ask them about the power and it is 120v. I also ask them about the spent pucks and there is a water container that they fall into when they are finished smoking. The gentleman that I spoke with said that the smoker is so new that they are just now stocking up the warehouse and would be shipping just after the first of the year. The shipping from the Store which is located in California to Missouri where I am was reasonable at only $10.00.

I hope so...can't use it in my camper if it is...
this may have been brought up but...
If they are offering a convection in this unit...how far off could a 4 or 6 rack with convection be??? ;D
With the temperatures this thing can reach it just might come only in 240 V just like your stove or clothes dryer.
I had a 110 volt Rotisserie/Toaster/Convection oven thing that reached 400+ with no problems. Very similar looking to the unit in the pics, however without a bisquette tower or smoke generator.
