found a cabinet made of aluminum. wondering if it would work for smoking. I dont know if aluminum works so i'm asking the experts.

Yes, Aluminum works great. Thats what The big chiefs are made of. You may want to insulate it somehow.

very nice cabinet, insulate it, add an heating element and smoke generator along with a pid and your good to go
