Title: Smoked turkey, Revised method
Post by: D.D. on November 25, 2012, 11:24:02 AM
2012 Thanksgiving Turkey. Well I did my regular rub, In the cavity put some onion, carrot, celery and cut up Granny smith apple. Then i smoked  a 13 lb bird for 8hrs, Smoked for 4 of those hours, However I smoked it Breast side down. Results all plates cleaned. Why let all those juices just run off, Let the breasts have the moisture, This worked very well  ;D
