new virgin to smoking an just purchased a masterbuilt propane smoker an hope someone could tell me how much propane would be needed for smoking various meats and vegtibles clams or oysters be smoked together

Welcome to the forum. Not sure how much propane usage a masterbuilt would need but I'm  sure someone has used one her.

I use a propane smoker when higher temps are ok.
A 20lb tank will run 30 + hours at 250-275.

welcome --you may also want to do a google search for a forum of masterbuilt users. While all are welcome here and there are a lot of good tips, recipes, etc that can be used on any smoker, a "dedicated" masterbuilt forum may offer some more specific to your smoker
