Hi all,
Been bothering me for a while. Understand that you can just throw them out when done but when I add them to the ashes from the Green Egg and IF I get the oven built I will be adding it's ashes and don't forget the fireplace it is quite a pile!
Not even thinking of making soap but is there a use for them? Not a miser or hoarder but if they are good for the garden, lawn, compost or something I would rather recycle them some how.
Jim
I throw the burnt pucks into my garden
I just chuck mine but if there is a good use for them. I'll start saving them
Throw them in the fire.
Throws em in the fire pit
I put my fully extinguised burnt pucks in the yard waste the Garbage company takes away every two weeks.
Into the compost bins

I dump the water pan with the spent pucks on a tree stump to drain, then when dried throw them in my Kamado Kooker when ever I fire it up
I dip mine in milk chocolate, package them nicely and send them anonymously to my X. She falls for it every time :D
I wish!...nah I just throw em in the garden
I throw them at my block wall ;)
I toss them in my yard and the lawnmower takes care of anything that's left the next time I mow.
compost pile once they cool.
I would like to recycle them but have a dog who always shows interest in where I dump them to get any drippings which may have fallen onto them, so I toss them in the garbage.
I donate them to a hockey team for recycling.

You have a hockey team on the island? Man that would be a great place to live.
Just think hockey, good looking girls on the beach, hockey, palm trees, hockey, water falls. Man you have it made ;D
Thanks guys. So no issues with compost or garden. Good to know.
Jim
I chuck mine over my west fence.
My South, West, and North fences have woods on the other side. Just depends on which way I want to walk to toss them.

Yeah, but their pucks keep falling apart so they never get to practice long enough to get any good.Quote from: TMB on December 04, 2012, 08:13:40 AMMan you have it made
Thanks, Tommy, but I already knew that.
