So the wife says to me the other day "when are you and my dad going to spend some time together and smoke and make sausage together?"
I simply responded I don't have the supplies to do so....
Now keep in mind my FIL, BIL and me went in last year and bought a grinder, 20 lb stuffer and a dehydrator, I've been using the dehydrator weekly, te other 2 have not been used.
So the wife says, "well you should hang out with him and use the stuff you bought last year, so get whatever supplies you need as hang out with each other"
YOU GOT IT BABE!!!!!

Good idea. If she doesn't find out how much it costs to
save money making jerky and sausage, she might tell you to get
more stuff. ;D
Wow, you married right!
Nice bunch of supplies.
Is your stuffer a Cabelas Commercial grade?
If so, I've got the 11 lb model, and it works great--but I wish I had a 20 or 30 lb model. If you ever plan to make snack sticks, I suggest getting the motor also. Cramming sausage thru a thin stuffer tube will kill your arm quick.
Have fun.
Post pics of your get together.

Been there done that, but atleast she told you to do it. It will be fun with the father-in-law , can't wait to see what you make John :)
Nice supplies! Gonna try my first batch of deer sausage this weekend. Now I know why it was so expensive to have my deer processed! At least this way I'll be eating my deer. :)
Nice pile of goodies!
Let the games begin!
nice batch of goodies
