Post by: TMB on December 17, 2012, 01:53:50 PM
I'll be on the couch for a few days with NO cooking  :-\    for atleast a week.   I'm having knee surgery to clean out the joint  :'(

So y'all keep cooking and posting so I'll have something to read while I'm down  ;)

For those that know me this is number my 8th surgery in 6 years.    :-[    Damn getting old sucks!  ;)

That sucks. Hopefully 8 is your lucky number and the cure for the pain in the knee. Good luck. :)

That's not a joke Francis. That's just stating a fact that Tommy doesn't have any excuses not to use his Bradley cause he's had surgery and is in a wheel chair! He's just being a sissy!!

I talked with Tommy this morning. Surgery went well. He had a small hiccup coming out of surgery. However everything is alright now and he is home. He said Doc mentioned something about a diet. Tommy was still kind of groggy so he didn't hear everything!! Doc must have sounded like Miss Kimmie so the selective listening kicked in. I'm guessing

Thanks all for the nice get wells!   I did have to go to the hospital after the surgery, I got fluid in my lungs and they sent me ASAP where I spent the night with breathing tubes and meds all the time.

I'm now at home better then I was.  My temp went to 102.5 last night so they packed me in ice for awhile. By this morning my temp dropped to 98.1 so they let me go with a bunch of meds to take.

Again thanks for all the "Get Wells"

Tommy

Glad your feeling better! Because of my lung diseases I spend up to 12 stays a year. Catch Pneumonia a lot. if not bad we have the things to treat at home. Not sure how yours is. But I really don't get much pain well except for coughing. But i get so tired I could lay down and die and not know it. Lots of fluids and strong antibodies for a while. Dont push it either a few times I relapsed and its really bad at them time.  Hope your feeling better before the holidays and get all them good meats done!
