Title: please help! dual element pid questions

hey i put the dual element in and now am wondering with the digital bradley what do you set the oven temp to or do u just turn on the smoke generator and not the oven? i am using an auber pid controller and set it at 70 600 150 and auto tuned it ready to rock now just gotta figure out what to set the thing to, thanks guys

You use the PID controller to control the oven. You don't use the digital control.

so u dont even turn the oven part on then just the smoke generator ?

I have the older style single probe PID. I plug the cord from the back of the smoker to my PID, The smoke generator plugs into the wall plug.

This is the duel probe PID. Someone who has one can give advice on the smoke gen operating by the PID

With the digital smoker the smoke generator can NOT be controll by the pid cause it is already built in timer so you just plug the back of your tower into the slot ritten HEATER.
