Hey folks Merry Christmas!

Newbie here, got a Bradley smoker as a present.  Can't wait to try it!

Have seasoned it today, wold like to put half a turkey in tomorrow!

welcome aboard awesome present, go ahead and try the turkey, if you  have time.. brine it tonight  then cook it

You're going to want to open the vent wide open with the turkey.  Poultry releases a lot of moisture and you want it to escape the tower as soon as possible or it will hold the heat down in your smoker.
