Title: dual element heat deflector
Post by: buttburner on January 08, 2013, 03:36:26 PM
few guys asked for a pic of this

Its just made from a cut off foil pan. I just set it there, its been there for about 5 smokes. I am going to make a permanent one that will screw to the wall. It really helps keep the heat off the back wall. If you make one just make sure it sits on the insulators well away from the wire terminals.

I had these made a couple years ago..... They really work.

Several members are using these daily.

looks real nice

mine is going to go under the drip pan. my drip pan got real scorched on the back wall side from all the heat before I added the deflector
