Very soggy here. Over 5 inches of rain since yesterday and still raining. Temperature is dropping like a rock. An opportunity for freezing rain before this is all over. Let's see, beer? check. Red beans and rice? check. We're good!

When we have storm warnings, the milk and bread fly off the shelves in the stores. We usually stock up on the 3 necessities: beer, corn flakes and toilet paper.

The older I get the more I dislike winter. I just have to hold out till retirement, then we can hook up the RV and head south whenever we feel like it.
