I have been thinking about venting the smoke and how I would attach a stovepipe to the smoker, i was thinking magnetic somehow. How did you attach the stove pipe to the vent on the smoker?
I am new to smoking, and so new to Bradley I have not used it yet. (broken smoken gen out of the box, new on the way) It looks like you have a cold smoke setup and I am wondering (if that is true) why thats is necessary since the heat can be shut off.

That's a very nice setup,I'm hoping to get set up like that. Your shed looks like a suncast 20 cu ft one although it looks roomier than suncast says on their site. The internal width and depth of yours would really help.

Looks perfect :D I've changed mine back to a regular smoker, not the cold smoke setup I showed in my pics. I will only use the cold smoke setup for when I do sausages.

Well I was lazy today and smoked some cheese w/o using my cold smoke adapter.It was about 50F today and with the cabinet heat off it still got near 100 inside.Some of the softer(regular swiss)cheese "drooped"a a good bit and some fat rendered out.The smoke generator does put out some heat,depends on how cool you need it.For cheese or cold smoking meat like steaks prior to grilling it's pretty useful-you can smoke a steak or burger longer without getting into the bacteria danger zone.Some have had success filling the bowl with ice or even putting in a second pan of ice,but making or just buying the adapter is pretty easy.

I screwed a plastic dryer vent attachment to the top of the smoker, then a flexible hose that attaches to a dryer exhaust.
The cold smoke set up is necessary bc the puck heater can get the cabinet too hot.

17d x 27.5w. I bought at lowes.. They were discounted... Not sure if it was a standard sale or if they are being discontinued. It is slightly roomier than the one I saw at home depot.
