Title: Pistachios & Pecans
Post by: steve-o on January 27, 2013, 09:40:22 AM
I was smoking a couple small pork roasts so I thought I would make use of the extra space with some nuts. I did 1 batch of 'Blazing Pistachios" and another batch of 'spicy pistachios' I found on the internet. And I did 1 batch of chili Pecans that Nepas posted a bit ago. All 3 were good, the spicy ones I think needs a bit of tweaking

Your nuts look great  ;D  I guess you need new frog mats cause it looks like your pecans are sticking  ;) Ive never had them stick so bad that I could turn the rack like that to take a pic and not have them at least slide off.  ;) ;) ;D

looks great. I almost picked up some pistachios yesterday but it was buy one get one free, $6 for a itty bitty bag and get another itty bitty bag for free. Aint gonna trick me like that that :) It does look like them pecans are standing on edge in that pic :)

Haha, yeah I am sure it is something simple but I couldn't figure out how to rotate pictures on photobucket so I gave up.  :-[
