What size grind do most of you use when maling summer sausage?
I use a 6mm plate for everything, including summer sausage.
Meat flows thru the grinder well with it, and I can grind once and stuff the meat into casings.
I realize certain styles of sausage should be made with a specific grind, but 6mm makes good sausage for me, so I stick with it.
