Title: Pucks sliding just short of full burner
Post by: SmokinSignals on February 05, 2013, 02:01:48 PM
My smoke generator will push the pucks just short of being on the burner all the way.  They are tilted just slighty because the track is offset from the burner.  I believe this is causing my pucks to not burn completely.  Is this normal?

I looked at all my generators and the burner is flush and level with the track. If part of the puck is not in contact with the burner plate that would seem to be the problem. Is there any way you might be able to tweak it a bit so they line up?

My two cents worth sounds like the puck push rod is bent that is why they don't advance all the way or the track is dirty.

I have an OBS and have the same problem. My slide is even with the burner, but it doesnt happen all the time. I have used it a couple of times and was hoping it would work the bugs out itself. I'm sure somebody here will know what to do
