Title: Newbie with a new Auber
Post by: Lionsfan1045 on February 07, 2013, 06:59:15 PM
Just got a new Auber duel probe, haven't got to turn it on yet and have read the directions. The question is, is this really as complicated to just program a set temp as it seems? Any advice will help, I plan on doing a pork lion on sat for my birthday

Seems very complicated until you read Gus' tutorial. Auber made easy :)

Great tutorial, so I only need to set my first event for 9 hours or so for approx 5 hour cook time then the rest to zero? The same with the smoke, just have it go on with the first event if I want it on the whole time?

Once you use it a few times it just becomes second nature - real easy to use

It took me about 3 times using it and then the proverbial light went off over my head.
