This took 2 full days and you are all invited to help next year... lol...
Wow I will take two pork bellies please ;D
Now that looks like a blast. I used to love it when my wifes BIL would butcher their hunt harvest. We would go over and help out and drink some good drink and cook moose or deer steaks. It would last till late in the night, admittedly on purpose but a goodtime was had by all. Looks like you all have a good time too.
The sausage and offal recipes are slightly different but in Louisiana they call that a Boucherie. Haven't been to one since I was a kid (before power tools). Lots of hard work and community, not to mention great food.
great hunt and great job cleaning,,, keep up the good work
Folks just don`t get to spend time with family like that anymore..... you are blessed! Really neat post. Showed it off to my co-workers and family. Thanks again.
That is awesome G9! I would have loved to have been there to participate in the Boucherie. Only thing I have seen noticeably missing are any signs of Blue Mountains. ;)
Great job.
Impressive!

I was about to call BS on the whole story Gary. Then in the very last picture I seen it. BEER!! I was gonna say there ain't no way that many guys got together and butchered 6 hogs over two days and there wasn't a beer had by anyone. At least not in a picture!! You done another great job my friend. Hows the Paw healing up for you?
