Title: Tow motor Battery Chargers
Post by: RedJada on March 08, 2013, 03:14:02 PM
Ok, this is completely off topic so dont beat me up too bad. I bought a tow motor and charger for our warehouse in Houston TX. It was cheaper to buy it locally and have it shipped. Anyway, I need to change the input voltage from 480v to 240v. Due to time restraints, I dont have time to have someone do this now, truck will be rolling tomorrow morning. So, I have the know how the wire transformers for different voltages, I'll probably have to step up the fuses. I'm sure I can figure it out. Just looking for a little input if you have the know how. Thanks.

I use to have a Blasting machine that ran on 240 and 480 and I would

have to re-wire it for what elec the coustomer had, but didn't have to

change any fuses. Mine had a diagram for the different voltage options

on the inside of the cap.

Might look online and see if they have any info.

That's what I'm hopping for classicrockgriller. But with the great planning from the people I work for, gave me a week to get it there by yesterday,LOL. So I dont even get to see the charger until I get to Houston in about a week. On a side note, there are lots and lots of used pallet racking places in Houston that dont have any pallet racking.  ;D ;D ;D

I live 1 hour north of Houston.

If you make Sausage, try to go by Allied Kenco.

Haven't made sausage yet... But according to Google maps, Allied Kenco is only 20min from where I'll be. Going to have to check it out.

And John Henry Rub Co. is just north of Allied by 5 minutes or so. (on 45)
