Hi I'm planning to smoke a couple of butts through the night and the weather has taken a turn it's 42. My question is not knowing the insulation of my Bradley I'm wondering if in normal conditions i'm looking for a 220/ 230 temp would I be wise to set the thermostat to 250 to counter the cold
240* is not going to hurt that butt.
Sometimes (again this is me) I cook at 300* in my big smoker
but only after the smoke period.
If the wind is hitting the smoker, try to put up a wind break.
That is more harmful to the smoker holding good temp than the 42*.
Thanks Classicrockgriller, it's a go for 10pm
You'll be fine! Don't forget the pics!
