Title: Nola Advice
Post by: SnellySmokesEm on March 28, 2013, 11:56:12 AM
The wife and I are planning our first trip to The Big Easy.  We need advice on places to stay.  We are looking for a Bed and Breakfast and we want the best location possible.

For a B&B, you'll probably have to look in the Garden District.   That's an easy trolly ride to/from the French Quarter.

I stay at Carlson Country Inn & Suites on Magazine just outside the Quarter.  It's a hotel in an old, restored building and serves breakfast (somewhere between Continental and fully cooked).  Good, convenient place (and you can always walk a block to Mother's for full breakfast).

When are you planning on going?

If you ain't too much against a Hotel...  The Royal Sonesta ain't a bad LOCATION.
