No pics as my phone isn't cooperating, but I just wanted to say thanks to OU812 for his recipe! I now completely understand TenPoint5's signature quote about bacon being crack! Before that I was never completely happy with store bought bacon! It's like the light has been lit and I've seen a glimpse of the holy land of swine!
I cured for a week, cooked it Sunday, left it in the fridge overnight and sliced a couple pieces off to fry for breakfast yesterday. I then sat at work thinking about bacon all dang day!
