I had the chance to stop by LEM Products yesterday. For those that don't know they are located in West Chester, OH. They have a little store on site that is a lot of fun to shop in, as they have refurbs and other merchandise that may have been damaged by UPS or other shippers, such as huge stainless prep tables for good prices.
The crazy thing is that the whole place smells of spices as the production goes on in the warehouse in the back of the building! I would be constantly hungry if I worked there!
Just jokingly I told the lady who was helping me check out to let me know the next time they need taste testers, and she said that I had just missed the bacon cure taste test! She also told me that they had a company picnic and had something like 400 lbs of sausages they made for it. Oh...and they also give 30% discount to employees. Sign me up!
I originally planned on just picking up my 3mm grinder plate to save on shipping, but somehow my total reached north of $50 quickly. Unfortunately I still had a visit to Ikea and Bass Pro planned, so I stopped there before I got in trouble with the CFO at home.
All in all very nice people and a very clean facility. I have no hesitations ordering from LEM after seeing their facilities.
I go by Westchester at least 3-4 times a week and i always say i am going to stop but i don't!! Glad to know it was all i thought it will be now i need to make a jump off the high way and go for it!
