Butts on sale at Food Lion @ ยข.99 lb
I just bought 4 and saved $75.75
great savings and great price
Dang! Could you ship me 16? I have an order to fill next week. :)
Yep. Our local store occasionally has them for $.99/lb or even slightly less. When I pass by the meat bins I'll sometimes grab one or two if they're on sale and stick them in the freezer. Right now I have a 9.75 lb butt in the freezer, waiting for some get-together for an excuse to smoke it.

Dang! You guys are lucky!
Wow! And I thought my $1.27/lb was great.

Wow!!! I am super jealous. Send some of those prices up here to the NW!!! I would love to go to the butcher counter and ask them "what you have out it is nice, but how much more do you have in the back?" HAHAHAHA!!!
the best I get is $1.30 every now and then (usually more then than now)
Local Cash and Carry had vac pack butts on sale for $1.19 # and save $0.10 on the case 2/pkg 4pkg/cs this week split a case with a buddy just took 2 11# butts out and into FTC for tomorrow. Love it when the other white meat is on sale!!

Wouldn't 8.67 lbs at a price of $8.67 come out to more like $1.00/lb? :D
Anyway, As Rita Rudner once said, "If we keep buying things on sale we'll eventually be billionaires with all the money we're saving." ;D

Never seen a butt sell for 3.09 a lb. They must come from Royalty Pigs.
