Title: E1 problems
Post by: garyhaupt on April 30, 2013, 02:57:43 PM
I have read the threads re:this problem. When I pulled out the sensor wire from the back of the smoker itself, the 'pin' from the inside sensor also came out. *bah*...I am presuming that I will need to open up the box and replace the sensor inside. Anyone care to offer any insights? I'll call tomorrow, Wed., May1st.

Your only solution is to go with your plan and call Bradley. They will need to ship you a new part. Taking off the back is easy, just a pain to remove and replace all those screws. If you have to work on it outdoors, use a screw driver with a magnetic head. You will be less likely to loose a screw as you remove them.

Depending on how long it will take Bradley to replace the part, you may want to take it out now and check your local electronic stores, to see if they can match the part.

I am trying to call..as of 8 am on the west coast and all I get it a recording about their hours....which means they ought to be answering before now. Sent an E mail. This just irritates me.
