Title: Beef Ribs
Post by: bbadinger on May 27, 2013, 05:45:48 PM
I had never smoked beef ribs before but have had some good ones while out in my travels for work. My local grocery store had beef back ribs on sale for $2.30/lb this week so I thought I would pick some up and try to smoke them myself. They turned out great using Jans Rub and the 3-2-1 method. But the ones I had at the BBQ place in the past had more of a pepper rub. Does anyone have a good pepper rub for beef ribs?

This is a modified version of the Salt Lick Clone recipe.

1 part salt
1 part ground black pepper
1/3 part cayenne
1/3 part garlic powder.

Thanks to FLBR for the original clone recipe and to STC for the modified version.
