Title: Smoke some butts in my newly repaired Bradley
Post by: 4given on May 31, 2013, 06:20:41 AM
First smoke after I fixed the puck advance on my Bradley!  I was able to get 3 butts in it by cutting one in half and putting 1 and 1/2 butts on two racks. I didn't have enough headroom to use three racks as the butts were too tall.they turned out nice!

Allrighty then.  I spraed each butt with vegetable oil for glue and then gave each a liberal coating of Jan's rub. I gave them 4 hours of smoke with apple wood pucks. Set the Bradley on high and was able to acheieve steady 200 -250 temps after about 5 hours.  I pulled the butts out of the smoker after I achieved internal temps of 195.  Put them in FTC for about 3 hours. the picture I posted i them straight out of the smoker.
