Can you put a Bradley smoker on a plastic picnic table while cooking?

The Bradley is well insulated, and very little heat will be transferred to the outer shell of the smoker, especially at the bottom. At least one member has done this; using a folding molded plastic table. If I recall correctly, it was a small 4 foot table that folded in half. The table will not melt, but the weight of the Bradley when filled with food, eventually caused the middle of the table to sag. If the table does not fold, you may have better luck. If you can place a piece of 1/2" plywood over the surface of the table, that my help to distribute the weight more evenly and prevent the sagging.

I use a plastic type of table where only the legs fold. I purchased it at Sam's years ago and it is still working fine.
