Title: Jerkolerky
Post by: Keymaster on June 01, 2013, 08:08:22 PM
Did my regular Jerky in the Brine. I was going to buy a whole top round but who am I trying to fool, I can barely get six pounds in my Bradley smoker.

All trayed up and the top tray had the Limited edition Super pig sprinkle on top :)

Full smoker of beef

The superpig jerky was great, a bit of sweet and salty all in one but not a knock out winner which I had hoped ;)

Rest of the jerky in a paper bag for a ride in the refrigerator for a day until I get some foodsaver bags...

Thanks for looking folks

That bowl must be 25 years old or more. Tupperware still makes the best plastic ware if you want to pay for it :)

Aaron,

what kind of brine mixture are you using or is it a secret recipe?

I'm getting bored with my jerky flavors and am looking to try something new.

Just the Lems original, You can get some of there clearance seasonings in the old packaging for cheap right HERE (http://www.lemproducts.com/product/backwoodsclearance/83) A lot of folks like the hot Lems jerky seasoning but I have not tried it John :)
