Title: FOODSAVER V3460
Post by: Jim O on June 05, 2013, 11:32:16 AM
Love my Foodsaver, but it uses a lot of bag material when sealing the first edge when making a bag.

Any way to reduce the approx 2" on the edge. (just being cheap !!)

Buy Weston pre-made bags from Amazon for 1/4 of the cost of Foodsaver

Yes, and the work great in Foodsavers.  you can get different sizes and ziplocks.  100 bags for around 20 bucks.  Usually if you order a couple different sizes you'll have a big enough order for free shipping.

westonsupply.com.   I really like them.  They even have re-sealable bags with a built in zip lock for things like cheese and snack sticks..
