Post by: GusRobin on July 06, 2013, 09:03:44 AM
Last night I decided to make some pork belly for today's breakfast.
So I sliced of a few chunks of pork belly

Added some Spicy Jan's Rub; some pepper, salt, and garlic powder.

I put them in a crock pot on low when I went to bed about 1:00am. Here they are this morning after about 7 hrs.

Added an omelet style egg and had a great breakfast. The bellies were much better than they look in my lousy pictures.

whatever it is called, it ends up with a very juicy, tender, tasty piece of belly.
