Title: Lems Jerky
Post by: devo on July 08, 2013, 06:00:05 PM
Everyone seems to like it so I thought if I had a chance I would check it out. Today I had that chance.
Did up five pounds of Hickory jerky seasoning today.

Ran the sliced eye of round in the vac tumbler

In the fridge over night for smoking today

In the smoker around 11 AM this morning

Some that got finished early, and the boy is asking for more so it must be good. I would have liked a little heat to it but other than that it tastes pretty good for store bought.

That's exactly how I make my jerky - LEM seasoning and marivac.  I add in a half cup of fresh coarse ground peppercorns for additional flavor/heat. It's always a winner.

I use the LEM's HOT mix and smoke with hickory or mesquite and have it all....all my friends rant about it
