Over a wood fire in 5 easy steps.
1. Put dog on stick and spiral cut. Place over open fire with Oak or your fav hard wood.

Nice trick, looks good.
What a great idea; I'm going to use that trick the next time we're around the fire pit on a cold day!
I have to do this next time we're doing a cook out with the neighbors, their kids will love it.
Cut the hot dog while on the stick so you dont cut all the way thru it.
So simple...but so amazing!
I went to a party today In San Diego for a friends 1yr old daughter, and they actually had these cooked.. First thing I thought about was this Post..
However I had no one to talk to about this great forum.. :(

I find this to be true about most forums I have been a member of. There is a wealth of information to be gleaned from members around the globe, and forums like these serve as a virtual meeting place for people with like minds.
Nice idea.
I made another for lunch today. This time i put bacon in the spiral

Now, I'm droolin' :)
I hope you didn't just have one!
Now you're just playing with our emotions and taste buds, and yesterday being National Hot Dog day.....
OK, I know mine isn't a Spiral Dog but I figured I would put it with your hotdog post.
I call it a Mexican Triple Threat.
