Title: Long time BBQ Smoker, Brand New Bradley Owner
Post by: ssherman on August 21, 2013, 04:56:24 AM
I am brand new here, but have been smoking and BBQ'n for decades.  I just got my new Bradley Digital 6-rack and can't wait to use it.  I will, however, take it slow and easy and try to avoid common problems that seem to be easily resolved by the messages I have read so far in this forum.  Any tips for a new Bradley users will be greatly appreciated.  Regards, SS

Welcome from Texas, as for tips for the new Bradley these are a few that I found most helpful when I got mine.
1. Season according to instructions
2. use hot/boiling water in your puck bowl to help with heat retention when you put in meat
3. Keep the top vent open, keep the top vent open, and keep the top vent open
4. Have fun and keep us posted with pictures and details, we love them

Welcome.  There is a ton of knowledge in these pages.  Take notes while smoking, and adjust to your liking.  Can't go wrong
