Title: Need a little help finding a recipe
Post by: Diesel-Lineman on August 31, 2013, 08:59:54 PM
A while ago I saw a recipe another member on here posted for ground beef jerky that used Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki.  I thought that I had bookmarked it but apparently I didn't and after numerous searches I've come up empty handed.  My wife has been bugging me to make some jerky for a couple of weeks now and I would like to get the remaining ground beef used up before we get another side of beef next month.  Thanks.

I use the amounts that Pikeman post awhile back.  http://forum.bradleysmoker.com/index.php?topic=28623.msg340368#msg340368

3.3oz of SOY VAY Veri Veri Teriyaki per pound of meat
Add the amount of Cayenne pepper you want for heat.  You can add red crushed pepper also. 2 tsp of cayenne per 5 pounds will not overpower you on the heat.

Sailor is right
3.3 oz/pound of burger and I found that 3 TBS of crushed red pepper for each 10 pounds of burger is OK for me but I think others might want it hotter.
