Title: Smoked tomato soup or gazpacho
Post by: Yancey on September 03, 2013, 01:54:01 PM
I'm wanting to make this to take to a tailgate next month.  It will go great with my rice salad.  (I hope)  Has anyone attempted this?  I have found a couple of dozen recipes of one variety or another.  Here are a few.

This looks interesting but I will not be making cuke cups.  LOL  http://www.recipebridge.com/g/227/2148395710/spicy-smoked-gazpacho-in-cucumber-cups

This looks good but might be better for a heated soup.  http://amazingribs.com/recipes/other_side_dishes/smoked_tomato_soup.html

Raichlen  does good work:

Emeril's look very tasty but it will be much easier for me to take a chilled soup.

What y'all got?
